We would like to thank each of the 75 participants who joined us at the Fuel Up Webinar which took place on the 16th of April 2020.
This webinar marked the start of Placement Partner’s Covid-19 Lockdown Client Support Initiative: Fuel Up, Warm Up, Be Ready and Keep Going.
The collaborative insights each participant brought to the session ensured it was a smashing success. Below is a review of what was discussed.
The main objectives for this session were to help recruiters to:
Recognise the importance of change.
The future holds many unknowns, which means we need to build a business that is adaptable. Businesses and industries alike have been rudely awakened to the fact that we are not as adaptable as we may have thought and hence, a more proactive approach to being ready for change is essential.
Assess where we find ourselves in the wake of change and how we make the most of this time.
It was almost unanimous that the recruitment industry is currently in a space where their immediate actions should be centered around securing, engaging and maintaining all that we have built.
Envision the opportunities of the future.
We took this as a very unique opportunity to start thinking beyond the Covid-19 Lockdown, to focus on areas we can invest in now and long term strategies for increasing capacity and business growth. Beyond surviving, it is imperative to be a business that is able to weather the storms of change and continue to grow and expand into the future.
As we networked and connected, the group put forward some amazing practical suggestions that would help them each to move forward stronger. The participants have received a 2 page summary of the initiatives from our session, to start working on in their teams.
One insight in particular that stuck out for the entire group – In order to truly thrive in these unprecedented times, it is essential to take advantage of all opportunities to network with like-minded individuals, to share insights and to learn as much as we can from one another.
